The Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) kicked off the week with a walkthrough as they prepare to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) in Week 4.
However, several key starters did not participate or were limited: wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) , wide receiver DeVonta Smith (concussion) , right tackle Lane Johnson (concussion), and right guard Mekhi Becton (wrist).
Starting safety Darius Slay (knee) was also on Wednesday's injury report, but he still was listed as a full participant.
Below is the Eagles' estimated injury report following Wednesday's walkthrough:
Eagles Week 4 Injury Report Observations
Brown has not played the last two weeks due to his hamstring and his availability for Sunday remains up in the air.
Smith exited Week 3's win over the Saints with a concussion and he will need to clear protocol before practicing.
Becton has a cast on his hand and told reporters he tore a ligament in his finger, though he plans to play Sunday.
Johnson was a spectator at the walkthrough which is a good sign as he clears concussion protocol.
Slay left Sunday's game early with an unknown injury. We learned today that it was his knee. It's worth noting he had minor knee surgery last year, which is concerning if it is the same one bothering him again.
Offensive coordinator Kellen Moore said this week that he feels confident in the wide receiver room outside of Smith and Brown.
That room consists of Jahan Dotson, rookie Johnny Wilson, and Parris Campbell elevated from the practice squad.
"Excellent job of guys being able to play adjustment football," said Moore of how they played in Week 3. "Those guys ran around, probably ran a few plays they never ran necessarily other than watching other guys run them over a number of weeks. To be able to hop in there and play those adjustments in positions they probably didn’t anticipate lining up in and being able to execute those plays.
"Towards the end, [WR] Jahan [Dotson] handling some of those mesh plays, and doing really well, doing a great job with those, that’s an awesome example. That was [WR DeVonta Smith] Smitty earlier in the game, and now all of a sudden Jahan is in there and able to execute at a really high level. We feel really confident and comfortable with those guys. Especially you give them a few extra days, they can keep continue to develop and handle all the different adjustments through a game plan and so we feel very fortunate to have those guys."
The Eagles also re-signed speedy veteran John Ross to the practice squad for extra depth ahead of Sunday.
