The Kansas City Chiefs are one of five remaining undefeated teams as we enter Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

It hasn't exactly been pretty for Kansas City with each win coming down to the wire, but 3-0 is 3-0. The Chiefs have proven that they are the best in the league, and possibly all-time, at winning close games.

If it isn't quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading a game-winning drive, it's the Chiefs' defense putting the hammer down on opposing offenses. Nobody understands what it takes to consistently win tough games as much as legendary quarterback Tom Brady. Now an analyst for Fox Sports, Brady revealed his Week 4 power rankings, which were topped by the Chiefs.

NFL power rankings are an imperfect system, but Brady's are pretty sensible. The Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are very clearly the top two teams in the league right now and could both justifiably have the top spot. Check out how Brady's rankings compare to our A to Z Newsletter Editor Wes Roesch's , who also analyzes who is a real contender and who's a pretender.

The Minnesota Vikings are playing perhaps the best defense in the NFL so far and quarterback Sam Darnold has revived his career, leading the league in touchdown passes. The Seattle Seahawks are playing good defense as well and quarterback Geno Smith ranks third in passing yards.

Brady rounds out his top five with the Houston Texans despite them getting blown out by the Vikings last week, leaving out the 3-0 Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite the loss, it's reasonable to think that the Texans will be fine and are a better overall team than the Steelers, although Pittsburgh is playing excellent defense.

Obviously nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, but the Chiefs' odds of moving to 4-0 on against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday look good. The Chargers are entering this matchup extremely beat up and could be without multiple key starters . The Chiefs then host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, then take a road trip to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in a Super Bowl LVIII rematch.
