The Las Vegas Raiders were embarrassed last week by the Carolina Panthers, and that's not being rude, they will be the first to tell you that. But, last week is last week, it's time to move on and prepare for the Cleveland Browns, who are hoping to do what they did to the Ravens, but even better.

They have an advantage coming into this game. The Browns are pretty beat up on both the offensive and defensive lines. If you know Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, you know he wants the identity of this team to be built on the trenches. So, if his team is what he says they are, this game is perfect for them.

The Browns injury situation is dire and may be worse than the Raiders injury situation. When you looked at Wednesday's injury report , the injury count was 16-7, in favor of the Raiders, meaning they have fewer injuries. On Thursday, the Raiders added three more names.

Raiders Thursday Injury Report for Week 4

Tight end Michael Mayer did not practice due to a personal reason, linebacker Kana'i Mauga was limited with a calf injury, and to everyone's surprise -- Davante Adams landed on the injury report as well with a hamstring injury.

If Adams does miss the game, it changes a lot. This would allow a Browns secondary, which has some pretty good players on it, to have a much better game. I know that's stating the obvious, but, it's true. The Raiders, if they don't want to fall in a 1-3 hole, will have to win this one, and it won't be easy.

It sure as hell won't be easy with your two best players banged up, as Maxx Crosby deals with an injury, too.

As for the rest of the injury report, nobody's status changed from the day prior. This one's going to be fun trying to predict.
