The Las Vegas Raiders have a good roster. Sure, the record doesn't currently reflect that statement, but they do have some very good players on this roster. They could do better in some spots, sure, but the roster overall is not a bad one.

What they have been much better at recently, though, is getting players on the team who have great character. And, one of their newest players is already showing that his character is as good as it gets.

So much so, that he has won an award for it, and he hasn't even played his Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns yet.

Mattison is a winner of the NFLPA Community MVP Award . Here is what ESPN's Adams Schefter tweeted about the award:

Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison is the Week 4 NFLPA Community MVP after creating a VIP gameday experience for two families in need, featuring passes, meet & greets, and a $1,000 donation for each household.

Mattison is also showing out on the field. He has a touchdown in every game, whether it be by way of a rushing score, or receiving. He's a do it back, who has shown to be a great pickup and investment by the Raiders this offseason.

But, he's also showing what it means to be a Raider off of the field.
