Raiders could be finally admitting what has been apparent since the 2023 NFL season

The Las Vegas Raiders have always had a Davante Adams problem. Not in the sense that he's not played well, or he has attitude issues, but in the sense that, the moment the team starts to fail or do badly, the conversation will be had that he wants to be traded. It's been that way since his best friend, Derek Carr, and the reason he came to the Raiders, was shipped off.

Then after the losing streak commenced under Josh McDaniels in 2023, and Adams was being thrown terrible passes by Jimmy Garoppolo, the talks intensified. But, the Raiders never budged, and neither did Adams. Was he frustrated? Yes. But, that's because he hates losing . The trade rumors have been non-stop since 2023.

But now, they are almost coming to life.

Adams missed last week with a hamstring issue , and that certainly didn't help the trade talks either. Fans and media made theories that maybe the Raiders were keeping him out and healthy so they could get the best end of a deal if one were to happen.

Then Antonio Pierce, the Raiders head coach, liked a photo on Instagram, which said that Adams would be getting traded. He has since unliked it, and Adams went on Up and Adams with Kay Adams on Tuesday, like he does every week, and looked pretty frustrated about it all.

Then, Raiders insider Vinny Bonsignore reported that he has a source telling him the Raiders are finally gauging interest in Adams in the trade market. They are calling teams to get a feel for what they could get for him. That doesn't mean he will be traded, but it certainly means he could.

This changes everything.
