Finally, after waiting over a month for it to happen, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish watch elite quarterback commit Deuce Knight flip to Auburn. The Tigers were expected to land Knight for quite some time, and he made it official on Wednesday.

However, the Tigers aren't done working their in-state pipeline. Already with a major haul for 2025, with a fantastic core of talent coming locally within Alabama, their eyes are set on flipping the others who are eyeing out-of-state offers.

That includes Ohio State 5-star cornerback commit Na'eem Offord.

Offord, ranked as the sixth-overall recruit in 2025, is a key part of the Buckeyes' plans at cornerback. Though he's been committed to the Buckeyes since late June, he continues to take visits elsewhere, and the flirting with Auburn has caused concerns amongst those within the Buckeyes.

247Sports has been getting the same vibes, listing Offord as a 75 percent flip chance.

Now, Knight plans on joining in to pitch Offord and others.

Here's a rundown of where each player Knight mentioned is currently committed to:

    • CB Na'eem Offord: Ohio State
    • OT Andrew Babaloa: None
    • WR Caleb Cunningham: Alabama
    • RB Ousmane Kromah: None
    • WR CJ Wiley: Florida State

Kromah is projected to land with Auburn, and Babaloa is reportedly deciding between Michigan, Auburn, and Stanford. Pulling Offord, Cunningham, and Wiley away from other top programs won't be easy, but Auburn would be putting together a historical group if they can continue this momentum.

Should Ohio State be scared of losing Offord? Yes. While the Buckeyes can recover as well as any program in the nation, Auburn is overcoming a bad on-field product in order to poach these playmakers, so something they've started pitching is working extremely well.
