Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning shocked the crowd at Neyland Stadium a couple of weeks ago when he walked out with Morgan Wallen at the country music superstar's concert in his full Tennessee football uniform.

Manning escorted Wallen to the stage along with Vols head coach Josh Heupel, quarterback Nico Iamaleava, and wide receiver Bru McCoy.

Manning joined The Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams this week and he revealed that there was a specific detail he needed for the uniform -- he had to make sure the jersey had sleeves.

"It was kind of a last minute call," said Manning of the decision to wear the uniform. "I did the fitting a couple of hours before the actual show. Put the uniform on, put the pads on. Notice the long sleeves on the jersey, those don't exist anymore in college football. They're pretty much sleeveless jerseys. I had to pre-order the jersey that came down to cover my biceps. Once I saw the biceps were covered, I said I'm good to go. Morgan approved of it and the rest is history."

Peyton told Adams that he changed out of the uniform immediately after walking to the stage with Wallen.

"As soon as it was over, high-fived Morgan, went and put my boots and cowboy hat on and watched the rest of the show," said Manning.

Leave it to Peyton to find a way to make walking out with Wallen a unique adventure.
