Las Vegas Raiders make roster moves before they head to Denver to play the Broncos with a beaten-up team

The Las Vegas Raiders are going through a ton of injuries this week, just like they did against the Cleveland Browns a week ago. However, this is even worse.

Last week they didn't have their two best players on the field and were without two other starters. This week, it's kind of the same deal. We know Davante Adams is out, and Maxx Crosby is questionable.

However, there are five starters out, and two other players out as well. There were 18 total players on the injury report Friday, which is not a sight you want to see as you head into a divisional matchup against the Denver Broncos, who have the same record as you.

This game could be the game played for second place in the AFC West behind the Kansas City Chiefs, as the Los Angeles Chargers are on a bye.

So, the Raiders made some elevations and other roster moves to help them prepare for a Broncos team that is coming off two big-time wins against both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets.

The Raiders have signed defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson to the active roster. He was signed a few weeks ago to help with Malcolm Koonce going down, as well as Tyree Wilson being banged up. That's great news for the former first-rounder who was seen as a castaway.

They added linebacker Luke Masterson to the IR, meaning he will be out for at least four weeks. Then, they elevated running back Sincere McCormick and wide receiver Alex Machman for the game Sunday.

With Masterson being out, we will see rookie linebacker Tommy Eichenberg a lot more now, as he is scheduled to make his first-ever start on Sunday.
