The Tennessee Vols entered Saturday's matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks ranked No. 4 in the AP Top 25 poll.

But after a tough 19-14 loss to the Razorbacks, the Vols will drop a few spots in the new AP Top 25 poll when it's released on Sunday afternoon.

On3 predicted on Sunday morning that Tennessee will fall all the way to No. 8 when the new poll is released, just ahead of Ole Miss at No. 9 and LSU at No. 10.

From On3 : The “feels like ’98” vibes were quieted with a dispiriting 19-14 loss at Arkansas. Tennessee’s Top 5 defense did its job until the final drive when it allowed backup quarterback Malachi Singleton to drive 60 yards for the game-winning score. Nico Iamaleava and the Vols’ offense couldn’t do much of anything against the Hogs, totaling just 332 yards with seven punts. Tennessee had a chance to escape with a win, but facing 4th-and-5 with around 17 seconds remaining, Iamaleava (who was just 17 of 29 for 158 yards) ran out of bounds as time expired rather than make a play for a first down or in the end zone.

Tennessee would be in danger of falling out of the top 10 if not for losses by Missouri and Michigan. And they could still fall to No. 9 or No. 10 depending on how AP voters view Ole Miss and LSU.

The Vols will get a chance to start their slow climb back up the rankings on Saturday when they host the Florida Gators in a key game in Neyland Stadium.
