Aaron Rodgers reveals detail that makes Jets' loss to the Vikings even worse

The New York Jets' trip to London didn't go as planned. The team lost to the Minnesota Vikings 23-17, and to make things worse, quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he's 'definitely banged up' coming out of a game in which the offense suffered with Brian Flores' pressure packages.

Aaron Rodgers said he suffered a low-ankle sprain. Presumably, he won't miss any time, but it's something to monitor moving forward, especially because at 40 years old Rodgers is not as mobile as he used to be, and an injury like that might affect his mobility even more.

"Got my foot caught on a pile there. It just seems to be a low-ankle sprain," Rodgers mentioned. "They were trying to get me in the tent, we get the roughing the kicker, and I said 'screw it, I'm going back out there.'"

This is the play in which Rodgers got hurt:

The loss in the United Kingdom made the Jets fall to 2-3 in the regular season. Despite those negative factors, the quarterback said he still trusts the roster.

"If we stick together ," Rodgers stressed, "I still have a lot of confidence in this team."

Next week, the Jets have a big challenge — and one that could be telling about their season. On Monday night, the team has an AFC East divisional matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Nate Hackett is a loser. His father was a loser. Nate is the cancer on this team and one more loss the players will call for his head. If ARod was the leader he says he is Nate should take a demotion and let Aaron call the plays. This coaching staff is gone at the end of the year. Saleh is emasculated and let this happen. Nothing more than a coordinator. I’m hoping they hire Vrabel with the talent we have.
