Las Vegas Raiders make a big change before facing Pittsburgh that they feel could be a difference-maker

When you have two quarterbacks, you have no quarterback. It feels like that's something John Madden or Al Davis has said before, but, it's true, even with the Las Vegas Raiders. Since they let Derek Carr walk, they have been in a revolving door of not having a good quarterback, but instead a journeyman who's not good.

This year, the Raiders made Gardner Minshew the starter for Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has had some bad games but played much better against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Then, in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, he was terrible, and Aidan O'Connell came in to play some.

Against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, Minshew started again and played great. He had some really good members in the game. But, the question always loomed on if we would see O'Connell or not this year. Week 5 against the Denver Broncos kind of sealed the deal. Minshew started well but made horrible mistakes that won the Broncos the game.

On Wednesday, head coach Antonio Pierce came to the press conference to announce who the starter would be for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

"Aidan O'Connell," he quickly said when asked on Wednesday. "He gives our offense the best chance moving forward.

The Steelers will see the guy that won the Raiders a handful of games last season.
