Dan Campbell's repeated comments lead to a suspicion that we're about to see a lot more of Allen Robinson than we thought

Since cutdown down time when the Detroit Lions signed three receivers including Tim Patrick, it's been about Patrick and Patrick only when it comes to receivers that everyone wants to talk about in Detroit.

You can totally understand why when you see him on the field. He is an opposing looking guy at 6-foot-5 and 212 pounds. His size makes him tough to stop and his athleticism makes it even tougher. So far you can see that the Lions are really taking to Patrick and that he's becoming a bigger part of the offense every week.

That might not mean that he's the only guy the Lions just signed  that they're thinking about utilizing. Former Pro Bowler Allen Robinson might be finding himself worked into the offense even more soon too.

It's all really based off of comments made by Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Anytime a question about Patrick comes up, Campbell makes sure to work in Allen Robinson's name and he talks about how impressed he is with him.

Campbell just did it on Wednesday when he was talking about the mentality that Tim Patrick is bringing to the Lions.

"You know what? One of the things I love about Tim Patrick, I put Allen Robinson in the same boat. I'm glad both of those guys are here, by the way, is they act like, just in the way that they handle their business, that they're still young players. And what I mean by that is, man, they want, 'give me the coaching. How do you want it? What is this? What's the, give me all the little details to this. Tell me exactly how you want it.' They're very coachable, like there's no 'I've played in this league eight years, 10 years. I know what I'm doing. I don't need you.' There's no entitlement whatsoever. These guys just come in and work their rear off and they want it. They help out across the board, not only for us, but also on the scout team."

The other thing is that the Lions added Robinson to the 53-man roster in late September. He's only played one snap so far, but that could soon see an increase as we get deeper into the season.

Don't expect Pro Bowl results from Robinson, but if he's able to even bring what he brought to the table for the Rams in 2022, when he caught 33 passes for 339 yards with 23 of those catches being for first downs, that's going to help the Lions. Just get out there and produce.

Right! So, can we stop the stupid articles about Adams and every other receiver looking for a trade?
