Josh Heupel sends message to Vols fans ahead of Tennessee's important showdown with Florida

For the first time in a month, the Tennessee Vols will play a game in Neyland Stadium this weekend.

Tennessee will host the Florida Gators in Knoxville on Saturday night. It'll be the the Vols' first game in Neyland Stadium since their 71-0 win against Kent State on September 14.

The Vols are coming off a tough loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks, which makes the game against Florida essentially a must-win for Tennessee and their College Football Playoff hopes.

UT head coach Josh Heupel knows that Tennessee's crowd will need to be a factor on Saturday night, which is why he sent a message to fans during Vol Calls on Wednesday night.

"They all are [important], but this one is because it's the next one we got," said Heupel. "For us, it's been a long time since we've been able to go play inside of that stadium. I'm looking forward to seeing our fans and being inside of that environment. It's going to be a fun night."

"Looking forward to seeing our fans," added Heupel. " You guys need to be a huge part of the game on Saturday night. The Neyland effect's gotta be in full force ."

Playing at night on the road in the SEC can be a daunting task. The Vols found that out for the first time this season last weekend against the Razorbacks. Now it's time for the Tennessee fan base to remind the Gators of how hard it can be to play on the road at night in the SEC.

Tennessee and Florida will kick off at 7:00 PM ET on Saturday night.
