Wide receiver Romeo Doubs is back and ready to play. After an eventful last week that included two missed practices for reportedly being unhappy with his role within the offense and a team-imposed suspension , Doubs practiced all week ahead of the Arizona Cardinals game and will play.

On Friday, the third-year receiver addressed the media for the first time and did a mea culpa for what happened.

"I absolutely wish I would have handled things differently," Doubs said in the locker room after practice. "It's much bigger than me individually finding my role. In this league, it's just winning football games."

Doubs tried to explain what he went through last week, and said that he addressed the team when he returned.

"I had some things going on mentally," Doubs added. "I did my best communicating and I'm just thankful that I'm here right now."

However, according to Doubs, the reason for skipping practices were not related to his role.

"I had to make sure that I got the family together again," Doubs said. "I'd say there were some things going on off the field. So, as far as just the organization and the staff, players, there's nothing going on within that area."

Earlier, head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Romeo Doubs will play on Sunday and is part of the plan after a solid week of work.

"Great," the head coach said when asked how Doubs has responded this week. "He's done a nice job. Gone in, worked. Just done a great job."

Romeo Doubs has been the second most productive receiver on the Packers this season, right behind Jayden Reed. In four games this season, Doubs has been targeted 20 times, and he's had 12 receptions for 169 yards.
