The Las Vegas Raiders have been taking so many hits on the injury front the last few weeks. It all started with their Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers, where everyone was bruised and beaten up after a hard, physical game they lost to a much worse opponent.

They then carried that with them to their win over the Cleveland Browns, where they had their two best players out of the game in Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams.

Here's how you know it was bad: That was Crosby's first ever game he missed in his entire NFL career. He just does not miss games, no matter what the injury is.

They have taken hit after hit, it feels like every single week. Last week was Christian Wilkins, where the Raiders lost their second-best player for at least four weeks, and very possibly much longer.

On Friday, a few days before their Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Raiders placed their starting tight end Michael Mayer on the NFI, as he is dealing with some personal things. He is set to be out for at least four more weeks before he can come back and play.

They were without him against the Browns and the Denver Broncos. You have to hope that everything is okay with Mayer.
