DeAndre Hopkins reacts to blatant missed pass interference call in Colts-Titans Week 6 loss

DeAndre Hopkins got robbed of a key first down against the Colts on Sunday. Fans aren't happy about it, Brian Callahan wasn't happy about it, and now Hopkins himself has sounded off on social media.

With a little over 7 minutes left in the contest, Hopkins was clearly interfered with on what would have been a 1st down pass and catch from Will Levis. Longtime rules analyst Gene Steratore posted a video of the missed call to X, and he didn't mince words on how clear of a mistake the officials made.

Hopkins replied to Steratore's post with simple ellipses:

Now, this wasn't an instance of officiating messing up the play that decided the game. The Titans had two more (full) opportunities to tie or take the lead later in the 4th quarter. But the miss certainly didn't help their efforts, and a correct call there would've set the Titans up in the best field position of the 2nd half aside from their TD drive.

They would have been nearing FG range with plenty of time to at least tie things up. But the officials made a big mistake.

Ultimately, if you're a team that needs the officials to be 100% faultless all the time in order to win games, then you just aren't a good enough football team. The Titans have plenty of things to blame themselves for in this loss. But Hopkins' production isn't one of them.

He now leads all Titans receivers in receptions (14) and yards (175) on the season, despite playing very limited snaps to begin the year. He was the Titans leading receiver against the Colts, going 4/6 for 54 yards.

He's one of the only consistent bright-spots on the team right now. The Titans would be wise to continue to utilize him more and more, as he's sure to draw flags on plays like he made today more often than not.
