The Indianapolis Colts picked up a big win in Week 6 over the Tennessee Titans to improve to 3-3 on the season.

Star receiver Michael Pittman Jr. made the big play that gave the Colts the lead in the fourth quarter. This is insane when you think about it because earlier this week, Pittman Jr. was rumored to be heading to the Colts injured reserve list . But instead, he made the game-winning play when the Colts needed it most.

Pittman Jr. showed up on the Colts injury report Wednesday with a back injury. The injury held him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Still, he was able to be a full participant on Friday, which was enough for the team to feel comfortable making him active for their Week 6 matchup against the Titans.

The shift from going on the IR to playing this week wasn't due to the pain of his injury miraculously healing itself. Instead, it was because Pittman himself chose to play through the pain and the injury. After the game, he spoke to the media and explained why he ultimately decided to play instead of letting his back heal.

"I feel like I decided on that Thursday that I was going to try and make a push on it. We are going to restart that whole cycle and get to Sunday."

"I'm just going to keep showing up, and whatever opportunity comes, try and make the most of them. Just go out there and try to help us win games."

Catching a game-winner in Nashville isn't a new feeling for Pittman Jr. Just last year, he iced the game for the Colts with an overtime touchdown. This year, he gave the Colts the lead with just under eight minutes left in the fourth quarter. A lead the team never relinquished.
