Raiders fans may be more tired of seeing what they saw at Allegiant Stadium vs. Steelers than what was on the field

There was once a time when the Las Vegas Raiders, or Oakland Raiders, had the best game-day atmosphere in the entire NFL. The Oakland Coliseum wasn't the prettiest stadium, and it didn't have a roof over everyone's head, but it was a special place, a place where the black hole could let loose and put fear into other fans who were visiting if there were any.

The Raiders during their Oakland times didn't manage to have very much success, at least not as much as you'd like to see. They haven't won a playoff game in 20 years. But, somehow, they still sold out games and Raiders fans showed up to tailgates and the games at a different level. It was unmatched.

Then, when they moved to Las Vegas, everything changed. Owner Mark Davis may not care, because he's making more money than ever, but the game day environment has never been the same since.

The Raiders are still a team that is suffering losing season after losing season, only now, they are doing it in Las Vegas with a big issue on their hands. It's been an issue since the team got to Las Vegas only now, the fan base is starting to get very upset about it.

Let me preface this by saying that the Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the best fan bases in all of sports, and their fans travel very well. But, you can say the exact same thing about the Raiders.

On Sunday, with the Steelers in town at Allegiant Stadium, fans pointed out that the split of fan bases there was largely in favor of the Steelers. In fact, it looked like a Steelers home game, which is an issue that no team should have to deal with at home, especially a historical team like the Raiders.

The split was probably 70-30 in favor of the Steelers. And, that's just not something both the team and the players should have to deal with. It's especially not something the fan base has to deal with. But, that comes with playing in Las Vegas, the mecca of entertainment.

But, they have virtually no home-field advantage in any game, and, that's something that fans are sick and tired of. Another reason the home team fans don't travel well is because of how pricey the tickets are.

The Raiders have the most expensive games in the entire NFL. Away teams fans travel well because they only have to play there once, and they get to go to Vegas, so it's almost like a vacation.

This is something that Raiders fans have been upset about for a while, and not having a home-field advantage certainly doesn't help how bad this team is. Against the Kansas City Chiefs at home, they will only have the same issue.
