Eagles HC Nick Sirianni shares unfortunate injury update on starting LT Jordan Mailata

Philadelphia Eagles starting left tackle Jordan Mailata exited Sunday's 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns early in the third quarter.

Mailata did not return after being ruled out with a hamstring injury.

He was seen leaving the Lincoln Financial Field on crutches and wearing a sleeve on his left leg.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni gave an update on Mailata during Monday's press conference.

"It looks like Jordan is going to be out a couple weeks," Sirianni said. "We'll see exactly how long it's going to be. I don't have that information yet. Exactly all that, but Jordan is busting his butt trying to make a play and unfortunately that happened."

Fred Johnson is the guy listed behind Mailata on the depth chart, but Sirianni hinted that there could be someone else, or multiple players, to step up in his place.

"Everything is on the table though," Sirianni said. "We have some ability to do different things because of the roster that Howie and his staff has built and the flexibility that coach Stoutland coaches the guys up with to be able to be multiple at different positions. So, flexibility is there. We're early on in the process and we'll figure that out as the week goes."

Johnson had previously filled in for injured Lane Johnson at left guard and performed well. However, another option the Eagles might turn to is moving Mekhi Becton back to left tackle, a position he played for most of his life before coming to Philly. That would leave Tyler Steen starting at right guard.
