The NFL just gave some great news that virtually every NFL fan is going to love to hear, especially Chicago Bears fans.

The league announced on Tuesday that they have flexed the Bears' Week 8 matchup against the Washington Commanders, the next game on the team's schedule following the Week 7 bye week.

The game was originally set to kickoff at 1:00pm EST but has now been moved to 4:25pm EST on CBS. The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cincinnati Bengals matchup will now be moved to the early window.

This was an expected move considering the game between the Bears and Commanders will feature the first and second overall picks, quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, facing off for the first time. A national audience will now be able to watch the two top rookies face off.

Both Williams and Daniels have been electric to start their NFL careers with their respective teams and this head-to-head matchup could be a major factor in determining the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

There's been a lot of comparisons between the two young quarterbacks and rightfully so considering their hot starts to their rookie seasons. Everyone will be dialed into this game in Week 8.

Amidst all the comparisons, the Bears coaching staff and executives have encouraged Williams to "run his own race" and not look into the comparisons between him and Daniels throughout the season. However, the media will continue to do so, especially during this upcoming game.

On Monday, head coach Matt Eberflus was asked specifically about that factor and how he can help keep his quarterback focused.

"That's been our mantra since the spring time, run our race. It's important that it's always about us," Eberflus said . "We're focused on our preparation, our improvement, and our growth during the course of this season... Caleb has things that he has to work on with the offense, with the offensive staff, and getting better individually. I know that there will be a lot of outside noise in terms of going home back to his area but again, we're playing the Washington Commanders and that's what it's going to be all about."

It's a great mindset to have and so far, Williams has shown he's been able to tune out all of the outside noise and just do his job to the best of his abilities. It'll be a great game to watch between two rising stars and the league made the right decision making sure everyone will be able to tune in.
