Buffalo Bills getting a boost with the health of several key players trending in the right direction

It's weird to say it, but the Buffalo Bills actually seem to be pretty healthy. That is a far cry from the norm throughout the first third of the NFL season for Buffalo.

At today's practice, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones was the only player on the roster that did not practice in some capacity, and it's being called a "foot/vet rest" day for him after he logged a full participation yesterday.

The vibes are high around the Bills right now. They're done with their only three-game road trip that they have this season, and are back home in Orchard Park preparing to take on the 1-4 Tennessee Titans. And they'll do so with newly-acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper in the fold.

A number of crucial Bills injuries seem to be on the mend. Running back James Cook has gotten in two consecutive limited participation practices dealing with the toe injury that he sustained in Houston, and wide receiver Khalil Shakir seems to be nearly back to full health from his ankle injury. Getting those two playmakers back on the field will be a big boost to the Bills offense.

QB1 Josh Allen also seems to be doing better. After suffering a hand injury in Week 1 that has seen him wearing a thick and heavily-padded glove on his left hand, Allen was spotted at practice no longer sporting the glove.

The Bills are 4-2, have a sizable lead in the AFC East, and are getting healthier. The arrow is pointing up for this Bills team as they aim to continue their march towards their ultimate playoff ambitions.
