The Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) are still not where they want to be health-wise ahead of Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants (2-4).

Three starters, including tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring), left tackle Jordan Mailata (hamstring), and defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle), did not practice on Monday.

Williams, who was a surprise pop-up on the injury report this week, practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday. Starting cornerback Darius Slay (knee) was downgraded to DNP.

Starting defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulder) was a new name on the injury report.

Cornerback Eli Ricks (groin) and defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) were also new additions to the injury report. Ricks did not practice while Young was limited.

Eagles Week 7 Injury Report Observations

    • Jordan Mailata exited Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns early and will miss a couple of weeks
    • Dallas Goedert also left last week's game with an injury and is expected to miss a few games.
    • Darius Slay was also injured, but the Eagles are said to have dodged a more serious injury with him as he is considered "day-to-day" and could still be available vs. the Giants.
    • Williams' injury doesn't look too concerning as long as he practices on Friday.
    • Carter is something to monitor, especially with Williams already injured. The Eagles would have to lean on both backup DTs if that's the case.
    • Sydney Brown returned to practice last week after rehabbing an ACL injury he suffered last season. The Eagles plan to ease him back into the lineup.
    • Rookie wideout Ainias Smith also returned to practice for the first time last week since injuring his ankle in the preseason.
    • The Eagles have two weeks left to activate Smith and Brown.
    • Albert Okwuegbunam returned from injured reserve on Wednesday. The Eagles have three weeks to active him to the roster. That will likely happen sooner rather than later with Goedert injured.
