The Green Bay Packers offense has a real shot at having the wide receiver core intact in week 7 against the Houston Texans. Dontayvion Wicks has officially been listed as questionable to play on Sunday, but he practiced all week and seems on a positive path. In general, the team is as healthy as it has been since week 1.
Wicks left the Arizona Cardinals game early because of a shoulder injury . Initially, there was a fear that he could miss significant time, but the Packers dodged another bullet at the position.
"He's been getting better every day," head coach Matt LaFleur said. "He's looking questionable."
Defensive tackle Colby Wooden is also questionable with a knee injury, but he did practice on Thursday and Friday on a limited basis. At the position, there is also a situation with Jonathan Ford. He doesn't have an injury designation, so he is healthy enough to play after practicing at full capacity the entire week, but the Packers are yet to activate him from injured reserve.
Cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin), defensive tackle Kenny Clark (toe), guard Elgton Jenkins (knee), tight end Tucker Kraft (groin), center Josh Myers (neck), wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle), and wide receiver Jayden Reed (ankle) are all off the injury report and good to go on Sunday.
Out
Devonte Wyatt is the only Packers player who has already been ruled out. He suffered an ankle injury against the Minnesota Vikings in week 4 and will miss his third consecutive game.
Since he was not placed on injured reserve, there was an initial expectation that Wyatt was going to miss fewer than four games. That means his return could be next week, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. But it's not a certainty at this point.
"I know he's been moving around quite a bit and he's walking normal," LaFleur mentioned. "He's been working out, running. So, hopefully, next week he'll be ready to go."
The other side
Meanwhile, the Houston Texans have real injury concerns. Off-ball linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), cornerback Kamari Lassiter (shoulder), linebacker Henry To'oTo'o (concussion), safety Jimmy Ward (groin), and wide receiver Robert Woods (foot) have all been ruled out.
Additionally, defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi (shoulder) and wide receiver Steven Sims (back) are listed as questionable to play.
