Saints star uses Michael Thomas to prove his loyalty to New Orleans during trade rumors

The New Orleans Saints are in a tough spot after their Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos. They are 2-5. They're dealing with a plethora of frustrating injuries. Alvin Kamara is a player that entered the season with contract drama and could be a potential trade candidate at the deadline.

According to the star running back himself, he does not want to leave New Orleans. He prefers to stay in black and gold in order to help the team win this season and beyond.

Alvin Kamara puts an end to trade rumors

The former Tennessee Volunteers running back returned to Knoxville to see them beat the Alabama Crimson Tide this past weekend.

Kamara has heard and seen the trade rumors on social media. That's all they've been. no notable reporter has unveiled the Saints' interest in trading the running back, and  no one has legitimately reported that he wants out.

Simply, it is all a lot of hypothetical talk. Kamara is not into that sort of discussion, and he involved former Saints WR Michael Thomas in the situation. Kamara says that he will have Thomas break the news if he wants to be moved from New Orleans.

Plain and simple - Kamara is determined to be a lifelong Saint. That backs up his comments from the offseason, too. He said that he wants to retire a Saint.

Another big-time statement from the RB. Kamara is one of the most beloved Saints of this generation, and many fans have been quite worried about his potential departure while he has been unhappy with his current contract.

This has become a trend for the veteran. Even with the offense's recent struggles, the Saints do not have a star that wants out of the building.
