It's been some time since the #Zone6 crew could brag about dominating the NFL. Poor quarterback play over the years has caused some folks to look at LSU as the best pipeline from college to the NFL for receivers, but the Ohio State Buckeyes are still the top dog. NFL Week 9 was a good reminder of that.

Four Buckeyes topped 100 yards, while another caught a game-winning touchdown pass, and the sixth still had a strong outing. Let's catch up on some of Ohio State's best playmakers from around the NFL, along with highlights.

Here's a quick overview of the former Buckeyes who showed out in Week 9:

    • Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals
    • Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
    • Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
    • Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders
    • Noah Brown, Washington Commanders
    • Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Harrison led the way with six receptions, 111 yards, and one touchdown. He was unstoppable, catching all but one target. Over and over, he found the soft spots of Miami's defense.

Wilson had his best game of the season despite the Jets losing at New England. He caught five passes for 113 yards. It was the third time in the last four games he broke the 100-yard mark, so he's at least trending up after a slow month to start the year.

His former running mate, Chris Olave, also had his best game of the year. Despite taking a hard hit that looked like a devastating concussion, Olave returned and finished with eight receptions for 107 yards. It was the first time this season he broke that magical 100-yard line.

McLaurin was the last former Buckeye who topped triple digits, getting to his season-high of 125 yards. But it was his teammate who had the best play of the week. Watch below as Noah Brown hauled in this tipped Hail Mary.

And, last but not least, Smith-Njigba hauled in six passes for 69 yards against Buffalow. It was his second-best outing of the 2024 season thus far.
