Atascadero Community Band announces final summer concerts in park

– The Atascadero Community Band will hold three more “Tuesday in the Park” concerts this summer at the bandstand in Atascadero Lake Park. The free performances begin at 7 p.m. and feature a diverse selection of music performed by musicians of all ages and conducted by local guest conductors. Upcoming concerts include a Latin theme as well as some big-band jazz.

On Aug. 6, the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs will host a pre-concert barbecue starting at 5 p.m. Concert-goers can purchase tickets for $15 at Peek Painting, the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce, or from Rotary or Kiwanis members.
