    • El Camino Real from Curbaril to Traffic Way
    • East Mall from Palma Ave to El Camino Real
    • West Mall from Palma Ave to El Camino Real
    • Palma Ave from West Mall to Traffic Way
    • Traffic Way from Palma Ave to El Camino Real (Parking behind El Paseo Plaza will remain open)
    • San Luis Ave from Curbaril to Pueblo Ave
    • Pueblo Ave from Sinoloa to San Luis Ave
    • Entrada Ave from El Camino Real to Palma Ave (soft closure at Lewis Ave)

Highway 41 will close to through traffic between the U.S. 101 southbound ramps and Santa Ysabel Avenue, detouring traffic through Curbaril Avenue and Santa Ysabel Avenue. The U.S. 101 northbound on- and off-ramps at Hwy 41/El Camino Real will close, but local traffic to the Von’s Center can access the area from Highway 41 at Santa Ysabel Avenue. Colony Square parking lot can be accessed from Lewis Ave. The intersection of El Camino Real and Traffic Way will allow traffic to flow between U.S. 101 ramps to the northern portion of El Camino Real. The Tesla Charging Station will be closed during the event. Designated pedestrian crossings will be at Huckleberry’s, East Mall, and Traffic Way.

The following rules will apply for participants in Hot El Camino Cruise Nite: Drivers must drive cautiously and watch for pedestrians, spectators, and other vehicles. They should obey all traffic signals, signs, and control devices, as well as all directions from police officers and event staff. Deliberate chirping, spinning, and squealing of tires are prohibited. Participants must not pour any liquid on the street for tire spinning. Exhibitions of vehicle speed, excessive exhaust system noise, and speed contests are also prohibited. U-turns are only permitted at the south end of the cruise route where designated.

Vehicles may leave the cruise route to “cool down,” but drivers seeking to re-enter the cruise route must do so at the registration site at Pueblo and El Camino Real. No passing is allowed in the center median, and throwing items of any kind from vehicles is prohibited. Drivers must ensure that their headlights are on during the cruise.

Violations of these rules may lead to being escorted from the course, citation, towing, impounding of vehicles, or arrest. The cruise will continue only with participant cooperation to ensure safety for everyone.

To register classic cars for Hot El Camino Cruise Nite, visit the Colony Park Community Center at 5599 Traffic Way before 4 p.m. on Aug. 16. After 4 p.m., registration will begin at 6 p.m. at Pueblo/San Luis Ave and El Camino Real. The cap is 350 vehicles for the cruise, so early registration is encouraged.
