Community members are invited to shop and donate at one of the eight thrift store locations operated by the organizations

    – This fall, NCI Affiliates and Achievement House, Inc. are celebrating National Disability Awareness Month (October) with their “Thrifting with a Cause” initiative. Community members are invited to shop and donate at one of the eight thrift store locations operated by the organizations, spanning the Central Coast from Salinas to Lompoc. Proceeds from sales directly support individuals with disabilities.

Shoppers in Paso Robles and Atascadero can visit one of the two local thrift stores, which offer a variety of gently used items at affordable prices. Donations are accepted at the Paso Robles location at 496 Linne Rd. The site also features an on-site post office and Amazon pickup boxes for added convenience during the holiday season.

In addition to thrift stores, NCI Affiliates and Achievement House provide a range of professional services, including janitorial, groundskeeping, housekeeping, bulk mailing, and food service for both commercial and residential clients. By shopping at the stores or hiring these services, community members support employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
