    Two people are dead and a suspect in custody following Friday morning incident in Abbotsford

    ABBOTSFORD – Two people are dead, one person was injured and another person is in custody after an incident early Friday morning in Abbotsford.

    The Colby-Abbotsford Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 303 E. Oak St., Lot 5, about 1:38 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Colby-Abbotsford Police Department. When they arrived, they found one injured person, who was taken to the hospital. They also found two deceased people inside the residence.

    A suspect was apprehended at the crime scene and is in custody and receiving medical treatment at Marshfield Medical Center. The suspect will be transported to the Clark County Jail upon medical clearance, the release said.

    The Colby-Abbotsford Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office are conducting the investigation with assistance by the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations, Wisconsin State Crime Lab, Wisconsin State Patrol, Clark County Coroner’s Office and the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.
