Public Works Director Michael Wodalski says the new wells will allow them to shift attention to cleaning up other issues without interrupting service. “We won’t have to worry about being low on water,” said Wodalski. “We can do well rehabs, clean up secondary contaminants like iron and manganese that cause aesthetic issues in some of our wells.”

July 15, 2024 – Officers responded to Pick n Save for a male who was having suicidal ideations. Contact was made with the male and crisis was made aware. During contact with the male, he also reported a transaction between himself and another party who had given him pills in exchange for money. A protection plan was put in place and charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.
