    ‘Trending high’: Deaths on Utah roads up over last year

    I don’t understand why it’s so bad here. Is it age? (The mix of both very young and elderly drivers?) Is it poor driving lessons? I lived in a metropolitan area with a population of 7.5 million people and notoriously some of the most confusing and stressful 10-14 lane highways in the country with 100 foot drops to concrete below, but we had fewer fatal accidents per day/week/month/year than there are here in Southern Utah with a population of 100k people. It’s sad and honestly kind of scary.
