A 3.4 earthquake struck part of DeKalb County Monday morning , the U.S. Geological Survey said.The earthquake struck at about 2:53 a.m. and was centered two kilometers northwest of Somonauk, the USGS said.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. 1 wounded in shooting at Matteson Amazon fulfillment center
A woman was wounded in shooting at an Amazon fulfillment center in south suburban Matteson Sunday, Matteson police said.Matteson police responded at 9:30 p.m. . at the facility at 7001 Vollmer Road, police said.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Click here to watchA 33-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her head and was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital for a non-life-threatening injury, police said.According to a preliminary investigation, police said the shooting was likely retaliation for an unreported fight that occurred in the parking lot earlier in the night among workers.Employees could be seen leaving the facility after the situation unfolded. None of them gave any details as to what happened inside.Matteson police said the scene was processed by detectives who continue to investigate the matter as an isolated incident. Police said there is no immediate threat to homes or businesses in the area.This isn't the first-time police have responded to this amazon fulfillment center. Two years ago, there was an altercation in the parking lot that led to gunfire, but police said no one was hurt.ABC7 has reached out to Amazon for comment. So far, no one has responded.
Boating team sets new record in Chicago Yacht Club's Race to Mackinac

Click here to watchTeam Maverick made it all the way to Mackinac Island in 22 hours, 24 minutes, and 23 seconds, beating the previous record set 22 years ago by more than an hour.Three boats in the Race to Mackinac were damaged from Saturday night's storms.The Chicago Yacht Club said the boats reported dismasting and thankfully no one was injured.Video was shared with ABC7 by Parade of Boats before storms moved in.The Race to Mackinac is the world's longest annual freshwater race. The length of the race is 333 miles from Navy Pier to the Round Island Channel, just off of Mackinac Island, Michigan.More than 250 boats and 2,100 racers from around the world participated in the race. The first Race to Mackinac took place in 1898.

Offender injured in Humboldt Park officer-involved shooting, Chicago police say; COPA investigating
An offender was shot by a Chicago police officer Saturday night on the city's Northwest Side.The officer-involved shooting happened around 8:48 p.m. in the 3800 block of North Avenue, Chicago Police Department officials said.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. 11th Annual BBQ for the Troops raises money for local troops, families
The 11th Annual BBQ for the Troops returned to Chicagoland new car dealers Saturday to raise money for local troops and their families.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7.
