MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The West Texas Symphony recently announced the musical program for its 2024-2025 season, the organization’s 62 nd season.

“Our 62 nd season is rock-solid! Whether you purchase a season subscription, donate, purchase a single concert ticket, or bring friends, you ensure quality musicianship remains in West Texas. Mark us in your calendas, purchase your tickets, and join us,” said Executive Director Ethan Wills.

The season kicks off with “American Stories,” a celebration of William Grant Still’s Symphony No. 1 and special performance of Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto by featured cellist Ethan Blake. At the end of the season is “Superman in Concert,” accompanied by the power of the West Texas Symphony orchestra performing John Williams’ triumphant original score live to the film.

Tickets for season subscriptions go on sale on June 26, with individual concert tickets on sale on August 1. Multi-tiered pricing levels are available to choose from, including highly-discounted student ticket pricing. You can visit the Symphony’s website for the full schedule and more information .
