WATCH: Kansas police rescue 14-month-old child stuck in underground pipe

MOUNDRIDGE, Kansas (KMID/KPEJ) – Rescuers saved a 14-month old child who fell into a PVC pipe and became trapped underground on Sunday.

The Moundridge Police Department got the call of a juvenile needing assistance just before 2 p.m. They found a pipe approximately 12 inches in diameter and 10 to 12 feet deep.

“He was screaming, he wanted out of there, he wanted help, and you can’t do anything, it’s just completely helplessness,” said the father of the child.
