‘Hammer down your house’: Big Spring PD searching for theft suspect

BIG SPRING, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Big Spring Police Department is asking for help from the community to locate a known theft suspect.

According to a social media post, Brandon Hyman is wanted on several outstanding warrants, including burglary of vehicles, burglary of homes, and vehicle theft.

“We have lost count on the warrants and cases we have on him,” Howard County Crime Stoppers said. “His victims include hard working individuals (and) veterans.”

Investigators said Hyman has allegedly stolen government documents, identifying information, check books, credit and debit cards, and tools from his victims.

“The Big Spring Police Department also suggested nailing down any and all property owned while (this suspect) is still out there. Hammer down your house and lawn, cars, buildings, swimming pools, concrete slabs…(because he) will try to steal it,” Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with information about where the suspect can be found is asked to call 432-263-TIPS. You may also submit your anonymous tip online or by using the P3 TIPS mobile app. If your tip leads to an arrest, it could be worth a cash reward.
