HIGHLIGHTS: Odessa vs. Lubbock Monterey

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Quarterback Mikey Cota threw for 497 yards and seven touchdowns in Odessa’s 57-49 win over Lubbock Monterey. Cota also rushed for an additional 26 yards.

Cota spread the ball to six different receivers, with four reaching at least 100 yards a piece:

Santiago Medrano: 158 yards, 3 touchdowns
Bo Rodgriguez: 101 yards, 2 touchdowns
Andrew Rodriguez: 110 yards, 2 touchdowns
Kobi Baldonado: 100 yards

The Bronchos are now 2-1 on the season ahead of their final non-district game next week against Killeen Ellison.
