Former Chick-fil-A VP to speak at UTPB lecture series

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The University of Texas Permian Basin will be welcoming David Salyers, former Vice President of Marketing at Chick-fil-A, as the next speaker for the university’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

According to the UTPB website, Salyers served as one of the original marketing executives at Chick-fil-A, spending more than 37 years with the company. Additionally, UTPB said Salyers has become a renowned speaker, author, and consultant, known for helping individuals, teams, and organizations unlock their potential through brand development.

The Distinguished Lecture Series is free and open to the public. UTPB is inviting community members, business professionals, and students to attend this lecture in the series beginning at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 8 at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.
