Tank battery explosion reported in Howard Co

KNOTT, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- A tank battery explosion was reported Thursday morning along FM 846 in northwestern Howard County.

The explosion happened in Knott, Texas, an unincorporated community nestled near the Howard County/Martin County line; a portion of FM 846 has been closed as crews with the Martin County Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Howard County Volunteer Fire Department remained on the scene Thursday afternoon.
