Basin Business: Unique chain brings chicken salad to the Basin

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Chicken Salad Chick officially opened its doors in the Tall City on Thursday. The restaurant chain was founded in 2008 and is the only chain dedicated to serving entirely one thing: chicken salad.

“So we are southern style scratch made chicken salad made fresh in our kitchen every day, we have 12 different flavors of chicken salad and we have brought a 13 ^th flavor to West Texas, it’s a little spicy because we like things a little hot over here and so it’s really just a one of a kind restaurant, we have something for everyone, we have something to satisfy every taste,” said Luke Sevcik, General Manager.

“It’s just really nice seeing the support from the community and when they take a bite of the chicken salad, they’re smiling, laughing, it was just awesome to see how much support we got from the community over something as simple as chicken salad.”

The new location is among the company’s 250 locations nationwide. Chicken Salad Chick in Midland is open from 10 am to 8pm at 200 Spring Park Drive Suite 300.
