Falcon Focus: Falcons face off against former conference champion Angelo State

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Falcons (3-2) are back in the win column after they defeated the Midwestern State Mustangs 27-3 in their own backyard.

Now their focus switches to Angelo State (2-2) this week. A team that they’ve only beaten once in their seven meetings.

The Rams defense is led by junior cornerback Andrew Pitts. Who has already accounted for three interceptions in just three games of action.

“Andrew Pitts, again, is the best football player in the country in the back end. He is, by himself, an elite, shut-down-once-out-of-the-field guy,” said UTPB Head Coach Kris McCullough.
