OPD investigating major crash

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- UPDATE: Westbound I-20 has been reopened. No other details have been released.

The Odessa Police Department has issued a traffic alert for parts of Interstate 20 amid a crash investigation.

According to OPD, drivers have been asked to avoid the interstate between Grandview Avenue and Grant Avenue. Witnesses in the area said westbound traffic has been exiting onto Grant.

The interstate will be closed until the scene has been cleared. We will provide more updates as they become available.
