MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – A one-time member of former President Trump’s Cabinet spoke Wednesday in Midland, as former United States Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker addressed the roughly 100 people at a luncheon held by the Midland County Republican Women. Whitaker said voters should be prepared as the elections near.

“Whether it’s absentee voting, whether it’s early voting or whether it’s voting on Election Day, having a plan {is important},” he said. “I know that if you wait until Election Day, then everything has to go right, whether that’s the weather, whether that’s your vehicle, whether that’s your job.”

Whitaker also said to vote early, which Texans can do beginning October 21. For more information on the upcoming elections, click here .
