WATCH: Alleged LA truck thief arrested following police pursuit

LOS ANGELES, California (KMID/KPEJ) – The driver of an allegedly stolen pickup truck was arrested after a pursuit Thursday morning, but not before hitting two patrol vehicles.

Officials said the pickup slammed into two Los Angeles Police Department vehicles, leading to the suspect being wanted for vehicle theft as well as assault on a police officer. The driver was able to escape a tight situation when he cornered a cul-de-sac, but he drove onto grass to escape.
