Man shot in chest in Sacramento County, officials investigating
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — A man was shot in the chest in Sacramento County Wednesday night, according to officials. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says the man was shot in the chest at a hotel on 4300 block of Watt Avenue around 9:40 p.m. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

KNEELAND, Calif. — Two people with ties to the Sacramento region were killed in a Humboldt County plane crash Tuesday. Cal Fire Aviation confirmed a mechanic and a pilot were the ones on board. SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A woman killed last week near Loaves and Fishes in Sacramento has been identified.
