New puppet theatre coming to Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A new puppet theatre will be opening its doors to the public in the coming days at the Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.

‘Ima ginary Friends’ , which is a new puppet theatre, will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday, June 1 in suite 117 on the first floor of Strawberry Square located at 320 Market Street .

The new theatre will be capable of seating 60 guests at a time during their shows.

The new puppet theatre will produce a variety of performances that are designed for guests ages 2 to 11. The company says that each show will take an educational and age appropriate approach to an important topic for young children.

The first performance, called “Strawberry Square Gets New Neighbors” will be teaching lessons of acceptance and friendship.

Tickets to the public grand opening and future showtime dates are available for purchase online .
