DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The City of Harrisburg announced that cleanup assistance is available for those whose property was damaged in last week’s storms.

Residents across Central Pennsylvania were affected by Tropical Storm Debby, and some are physically or financially unable to complete a cleanup process or repair property damages. Now, the city of Harrisburg is working on a solution .

There are multiple solutions for residents seeking assistance; here are some that the City of Harrisburg recommends.

A call center has been set up by Pennsylvania Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (PAVOAD) and Crisis Cleanup to streamline recovery efforts, according to the City of Harrisburg.

Individuals with damages can call 844-965-1386 to register for a volunteer cleanup from a local PAVOD organization. The City of Harrisburg says volunteer groups can assist with tree removals and other debris cleanups.
