ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Multiple landmarks on the Gettysburg Battlefield along with buildings in the borough were covered with white spray paint.

According to a news release from park officials, white spray paint was used to write graffiti on boulders on Little Round Top and the historic War Department Observation Tower on Oak Ridge. Photos provided from Gettysburg Police of the tower vandalisms show the phrases “The dead will rise,” and “Hope lives here.”
