CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) — This past week in the Midstate, a local food hall announced it will be listed for sale, a candle-making business that offers handmade tie-dyes shared its upcoming opening, and we have an update on Central Pennsylvania’s first Wawa.

    Apricity

    • This locally owned and operated shop in York County will soon make its debut on 15 South Beaver Street in downtown York. The new business will feature a wide collection of handmade vegan Coconut Apricot Wax candles, handmade tie-dyed tapestries and apparel, and candle-making workshops. They are slated to open this September.

    Wawa

    • Wawa has officially announced that its first ever Central Pennsylvania location will be opening on September 19. This new Wawa store will be located  at 1601 West Harrisburg Pike in Middletown. Wawa says that each new location will employ about 35 store associates.

    Lincoln Social Food Market

    • This Adams County based food hall and event venue just announced that they will be closing for the season, and will be listed for sale through the fall and winter. The business told abc27 news that depending on the future buyer’s plans, the Lincoln Social Food Market may be closed for the season or permanently.
