LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Multiple Lebanon County residents have reported receiving text messages from scammers posing as election officials, according to Lebanon County Bureau of Elections.

These messages appear to be automated messages telling residents, “We have you in our records as not registered to vote,” and then providing a link to do so. DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK.

According to the Lebanon County Bureau of Elections Director of Elections, Sean D. Drasher, these messages are not from the bureau, and many have been confirmed to be scam messages that will corrupt user’s phones if the link is clicked.
