YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — First responders in York County got an extra jolt of appreciation Friday.

A new drive-through coffee shop called 7 Brew Coffee in the Red Lion area gave them and their families free coffee. York County Regional Police and local firefighters were there.

“We think it’s really important,” Matt Peters of 7 Brew Coffee said. “They’re the first ones you call when something goes wrong. So we’re giving them a really big shout out today. And that’s what these events are about, is going that extra mile and not just saying, ‘Hey, we want to cultivate kindness.’ We want to show people we really mean what we say.”
